welcome the night sky.

J and I had so much fun together today. The seafood was really, really good -- except the crab. I didn't think the quality was up to standard and in my opinion, over priced. The conch was surprisingly good, even though it didn't look like it. I wish I could have shuckled my own oysters (like at Hog Island!). I hated the server's attitude. He was F**KING RUDE and I swear he was just racist. He claimed that we should order our crab and lobsters first because oysters would only like 5 minutes when he took 15 minutes to shuckle one dozen oysters. I think I can do better than him. I really really really thought his attitude was so uncalled for. But that aside, I enjoyed the whole seafood experience. Just beware the pigeons and seagulls eyeing your food and sharing your table. And you really can't be civilized eating seafood -- be messy! Lick your fingers! Say yuuummm! It's so much better that way.

Total damage: $104.86. Oh, did I mention that the server's attitude immediately became 100% nicer when he rang up the bill? Damn you for spoiling my experience! But I would go back -- and if I see you, I'd just go to another server, who's nicer.

We walked around the pier after our early dinner, arm in arm, laughing, singing songs, and admiring the scenery that was enveloping us. We watched people fish, bought a churro to share, ate a bowl of clam chowder, took polaroids, had fun.

Maybe two is better than one. <3
