Congratulations!

 

... on your naturalization! We went to our favorite sushi place to celebrate this memorable day. And we went to the optometrist to get J's eyes checked for contact lens! And to make this day sweeter, Starbucks was having a buy one get one free holiday beverage promotion. We got my favorite Peppermint Mocha and while I was gladly enjoying my holiday drink, J didn't quite enjoy the peppermint taste. The thing about us is that we sometimes have such different taste. But maybe it's true that opposites attract.

I love peppermint and I'm so excited to include peppermint in my baking recipes. I can smell Christmas lingering around in this wintry air.
