Pre-21st

The fact that I've been neglecting this blog for a while now is fact that time waits for no man. Ever since our last road trip to San Diego, my life has been packed. Everyday was filled with work, projects, graduate school applications, job search, moving, fare-well get togethers, and last minute explorations in LA before J and I move back to Norcal.

So, before 2011 comes to an end, I'm hoping to squeeze in all the way over due posts, starting with my 21st birthday!

Amelia planned a pre-21st birthday lunch for me at The Counter @ Santana Row. I fell in love with the Parmesan Fries and Sweet Potato Fries. I loved the build your burger concept, but it didn't wow me. It was probably just my weird combination of ingredients though. After a really filling lunch, we headed over to Urban Outfitters and tried on a couple of pretty dresses while the boys just sat and browsed through a really interesting book. And since it was pretty cold that day, we bought one of Starbucks Holiday Favorites -- Caramel Brulee Latte and I had a surprise cupcake from Kara's Cupcakes.

The adults celebrated my birthday at night and Uncle Mike cooked steak, scallops, and asparagus. As usual, we had a bottle of good wine to complement dinner. For my birthday cake, I had one of the best ice-cream cake from Cold Stone Creamery -- red velvet and strawberries.
