My throat tightens as I write this.
Wednesday, October 5, 2011. A day to commemorate one of the world's most inspirational man. Steve Jobs. I was saddened to hear that he passed away at such a young age. Apple will forever be different without you. I remembered writing a paper for one of my EWRT classes on the evolutionary IPOD with it's wheel and classic white ear-piece.
I look up to Steve Jobs because not only was he brilliant and rich, he was down to earth, keeping his life away from the media and paparazzi, and just being who is really is. Human.
“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” - Steve Jobs’ Stanford Commencement Address

His biography is coming out in 2 weeks and I'm thankful for J for already pre-ordering it for me on Amazon. RIP, Steve Jobs.
Another sad event: I received a text from my sister about a shooting going on near her school. I was so worried for her, her BF, J's brother, and Livia's brother, my friends, instructors and mentors who are still at DA.
Today the sun isn't shining as bright as it should be. But there'll be a rainbow after the rain.
