Weekend Baked!

nutella cookies
breakfast puffs

J and I had so much planned for the weekend, but when it did finally arrive, we found ourselves just wanting to stay home. I wouldn't say I wasted my weekend away, it just wasn't as productive as I would have liked it to be. Needless to say, I baked! I attempted two recipes that I've never tried before, and I couldn't be happier that they turned out well.

Amelia and Sabrina!  ❥ I made these cookies with you girls specially in mind! While I was back in NorCal, my sister and I were watching a certain Taiwanese drama late into the night and her favorite midnight snack was Nutella. She would eat it out of the bottle by the spoonfuls! And Sabrina, my lovely girlfriend, loves making nutella crepes! She even made a 20 layer nutella crepe!

You can't go wrong with this recipe. I made this right before J came to my apartment for our steak and wine night, and there was a look on his face. A surprised look, I should say. He took one off the wire rack, popped it into his mouth, and silence. Then he took another, ate it, and said, "Oh my god. This is soooo good." Then he ate another. I had to stop him from eating too much or he won't be able to enjoy our dinner later.  ❥ So! The point is, J doesn't like sweet snacks and this is anything but sweet -- I'd say, make it! Your boyfriend would appreciate a nice breakfast, heck, your roommies will even offer to do the dishes that night! Since these puffs are bite-sized, it's convenient to bring on the road as well.
