Griffith Observatory

J and I spent our last few days in Los Angeles going to places that we've always wanted to go, but didn't actually have the time while we were at UCLA. Mostly, we went places to eat, since LA has one of the best Chinese food. By best, I mean cheap and authentic. What's not to love.

We've always talked about going to Griffith Observatory, just because everyone says it's a must go when you're in LA. Let's just say I would have regretted not going before leaving this urban city of lights. I learned so much about the solar system, and well, things that J thought I would have already learned before graduating high school. Did I mention I wasn't actually very interested in science and math? (:

The wind was strong and gusty while we were there before sun down, which explains why I couldn't even open my eyes. We browsed through the place, learned about the stars, the sun, the moon, and the tides. We stayed and watch the sun set over a skyline of tall buildings. Then, from our view, we could see the entire city light up in the night sky. It was the most beautiful sight.
